Toss Pebbles, Make Ripples, Change the World

We say strong relationships are ‘solid as a rock.’

We are said to ‘trip over pebbles, not mountains.’

When experiencing a challenging decision, we may be ‘between a rock and a hard place.’

When things fall completely apart, one might hit ‘rock bottom.’

They tell you not to ‘throw stones’ (especially if you ‘live in glass houses’).

If you ask an engineer or builder about the importance of rocks in our lives, they will most likely reference the physical blocks of stones that are used in foundations for every type of structure in our everyday lives.

If you ask me, I will tell you that one of the most important things you can ever do to ‘move mountains’ in your life is to toss pebbles everyday.

I want you to toss as many positive pebbles into the world as you can.

Every action you take is a pebble. Every decision you make is a pebble. Every thought you have is a pebble. Every word out of your mouth is a pebble.

If the world is a pond, then every pebble you toss into it creates a ripple. Every ripple you create touches the lives of others. Create positive ripples everywhere you go. Positive ripples are helpful ripples; ripples that inspire and motivate.
